How it works
Prompts – These green cards have 12 words on them. Draw one or two cards from this pile and choose some words to mashup into a fun, random idea. Like Starfish / Kaiju or Strange / Fair. Then get to doodling! There are 528 prompts and pretty much infinite word combos to inspire your creations.
Challenges – Orange-backed cards have all sorts of art challenges for those who want to share their creations and/or just level up their personal creativity. Once you have your words chosen, draw a Challenges card and choose one to take on.
Also in this deck are some additional creativity tips and some little surprises and easter eggs to find.

The success of Flip Doodle as a resource for creatives, teachers and parents led me to create Flip Doodle Deluxe (FDD). There are 72 cards, 528 words, 50 kinds of challenges and pretty much infinite combinations of creative prompts possible. All in one solid little carrying case that’s ready to travel wherever you go.

Yup, I’m all-in on doodling! If you haven’t noticed, this whole idea of doodling is really important to me. It’s not just about the nonsense of it all, even though that’s my favorite reason to doodle. It’s about stretching our creativity. Growing our capacity for generating ideas. Bending reality and seeing things differently. When we grow, so many possibilities open up not only for personal creativity, but sharing experiences with others.

Inspired artists + creative pros – As creatives, maintaining a sense of play is at the core of staying inspired. Flip Doodle Deluxe is all about playing with ideas and experimenting with possibilities. I’m also excited by the potential for connecting with others through Flip Doodle Deluxe. There’s all sorts of possibilities – live drawing events, fun product discovery sessions, putting on art shows, inventing new ways to use FDD cards and more!
Discerning parents – Promoting creativity within children is something most parents would agree is important. But what if creativity could be a source of entertainment? Sure, Flip Doodle Deluxe gives parents something fun to share with their children. But the real joy comes in seeing a child choosing to focus on their creations for hours.
